Welcome to Christ Community School
Thank you for your interest in Christ Community School. Our mission is to provide children in Pre-K 3-year-old through 6th grades with a high-quality academic education and a strong Christian character base. Christian principles are present throughout our curriculum and are used to help each student reach their full potential.
CCS enjoys a small student-teacher ratio, which allows our teachers to fully explore learning with their students, using every moment as a teachable moment. The student-teacher ratio is 10 students per teacher in the Pre-K 3-year-old class, 12 students per teacher in the Pre-K 4-year-old class, 15 students per teacher in Kindergarten, and 18 students per teacher in grades 1 through 6. From the basics of math, language and science to our enrichment courses in computer technology, art, music, Spanish and physical education, our campus is truly experiential to promote learning beyond the scope of the textbook. I am honored to work with our incredible staff of highly qualified teachers who are each teaching in their chosen fields and developmental levels. They bring a contagious energy to the classroom that inspires a lifelong love of learning.
We recently completed $700,000 in improvements to our 8-acre campus that further enhance the learning experience at CCS. These include a state-of-the-art Dell Computer Lab; playground equipment including climbing structures, balance elements, swings and scooter area; full and half-court basketball courts; baseball and soccer fields; and an outdoor café area with picnic tables and ample shade.
