I am trying to install software on my PC but it won't install correctly

Problem: When you try to install software from a CD or install file you may get an error message saying you need administrator privileges or the install simply fails.

To install any software on your PC you must be logged on as a local administrator.

To do this, simply log off of your PC by clicking Start, Shutdown, then select Log Off from the list presented. Log back on using the user name "Administrator" and the password supplied by your network administrator, and change "Log on to" to the selection that includes "(this computer)"

Once logged in, install the software normally.

After you have installed the software, log off as described above. Then log back in with your username and password, making sure to change "Log on to" back to "CCS".
