Physical Education

The CCS physical education program provides instruction in sportsmanship, team play and the basic components of various sports including basketball, baseball and soccer using the new CCS facilities—full and half-court basketball courts, two soccer fields and a full-size baseball diamond. Children learn coordination with work on an obstacle course and by playing with hula-hoops as well as practicing dribbling and other basic ball skills. The Physical Education program is based on age-appropriate physical development and brain research and ties activities into relevant classroom instruction to reinforce concepts.
