Ana Arias, Spanish/P.E.

Ana Arias, Spanish/P.E. My name is Ana Mercedes Arias. I received the Lord 17 years ago. He is my refuge and strength and He has blessed me with an awesome family. That's me on the left with my husband Ricardo, and my wonderful son and daughter.

I was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala and moved to Texas with my husband in 1991 and we made Houston our home.

This is my fourth year at CCS and I am the Spanish and PE teacher, I love being outdoors with the children and also love teaching them Spanish and about the Latin culture, the music and food!

Prior to teaching at CCS I taught pre-k and worked as a translator in the business world, I also served as Children’s church director with my husband.

I feel so blessed to have a job that I love and to be part of CCS!
