Christ Community School

Administration

The role of the Administrative Team is simple, "keeping you connected".

We serve our families and prospective parents best by responding to questions quickly and through providing information that is current and relevant to the needs of your family.

It is our pleasure to introduce our administrative team:

Bernadette Lentini has served at Christ Community School for over ten years, taking two years off to serve at WoodsEdge Community Church where she recruited, organized and coordinated church volunteers. Currently she leads a small group, ushers at her church and has taught several Sunday school classes and was also a Director of Children’s Sunday School.

Ms. Lentini is passionate about nurturing, training, encouraging and challenging children for the glory of God. Her love for the Lord and His word is a daily guide as she works with the students and staff at Christ Community School. As a child of the King, she believes that one of the highest titles we can receive is “good and faithful servant” and encourages the students to love and serve one another in and out of school.

Ms. Lentini is a native Texan, residing in The Woodlands for the last 23 years. She enjoys spending time with her family including hiking and biking with her son in their spare time.

Ms. Lentini graduated from Madison University, located in Gulfport, MS, with a B.S. in Education Administration and continued on to earn a Master's degree in Education Counseling.

My name is Shelie Goodwin. I found CCS in 2003 while looking for a school for my oldest daughter, and felt right at home. Since that time, all 3 of my daughters have attended the school and have been blessed by the teachers and staff here. Jesus becomes more and more real to me every day and I am so grateful that He died for me that I might live eternally in heaven. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.

I have lived in The Woodlands with my husband since 1993 and worship and serve at The Woodlands United Methodist Church.

bio_tmcgee.jpgOffice Manager

My name is Talia McGee and I have been serving at Christ Community School for over 5 years as the school secretary and now as the office manager. I am so blessed to have grown up in a Christian family. At the age of 9, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and he forgave me of all my sins and now I am a part of the family of God!

My husband, Joey, and I have been happily married for 3 years and are both active members of Christ Church Baptist Fellowship. In February of 2010, our daughter, Emma Rose, was brought into this world, and what a miracle she is!

My life verse is Galations 2:20. I am so blessed to be at CCS!

bio_lschoppe.jpgAdministrative Assistant

My name is Linda Schoppe, Administrative Assistant at Christ Community School. I started my career in the public school system in January, 1983 as elementary classroom aide in physical education. In June of 1983 I became the principal’s secretary and bookkeeper and remained at the elementary level for sixteen years.

After my principal retired, I took a promotion to central office and began working in the legal department. I retired from the school district with 26 years of service. After a very brief period of “retirement” I realized how much I missed being around the children and that is when God sent me to Christ Community School. Working here at CCS has been a great joy!

I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as a young adult. I asked Jesus to come into my life, He forgive me and guides me through this life. He is my savior.

I have been married to my husband Jack for 44 years. We have two grown children, Thomas and Jay and four grandchildren. We are very blessed to have wonderful children and grandchildren.

I am looking forward to great year here at Christ Community School.
