Anne Patterson, Kindergarten
Anne Patterson says that it’s easy for her to teach Kindergarten because she loves seeing the wonderment in the faces of children making discoveries. A Texas Certified Teacher with an Early Childhood Endorsement, Mrs. Patterson is a reading specialist who is trained in the Reading Recovery program. Mrs. Patterson joined the CCS team in 2004 and has been teaching for over 13 years. A Texas A&M graduate, she is a consummate learner constantly seeking to further her own education to find new ways to present material to her students. Mrs. Patterson loves teaching at CCS because she can use God as a reference point for all learning in her classroom. She teaches concepts to various learning styles, uses object lessons, differentiated instruction and sign language as well as life experiences to establish relevancy for concepts. An active triathlete who is involved in her church, she is married and has three children, a daughter in 3rd grade, a son in 5th grade and a son graduating from high school in 2008.
