Julie Olson
Julie Olson graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Business Administration/Marketing.
After a few successful years of corporate training and marketing experience, Mrs. Olson yearned to educate children
and returned to the University of St. Thomas for her Elementary Education teacher certification. During her
first year of teaching she was nominated intern of the year in the Houston Independent School District for her
efforts in helping disadvantaged children achieve success. She recently completed her Master's degree in Education
Administration from Sam Houston State University with a Principal's Certification. Mrs. Olson has teaching experience in the various
elementary grade levels and academic disciplines, was a team leader, campus academic intervention chair, and was
selected to attend the state of Texas Reading Academy. Mrs. Olson is an active member of her church, is married and has
two young boys.
