Kelle Castleberry, PrincipalA third-generation educator, Kelle Castleberry graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BS in secondary education. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Sam Houston State University with a Principal’s Certification. Mrs. Castleberry has experience teaching at the junior high level in Texas school districts, has been a department chairperson, assisted in creating and editing a district inductions manual, and was selected by the State of Texas to write curriculum. She received a Teacher of the Year Award in 1997-1998 from the Daughters of the American Revolution Peter’s Colony Chapter. While working in the Coppell Independent School District, Mrs. Castleberry served as District Job Fair Interviewer on the Personnel Committee, mentored teachers, organized and facilitated new teacher training, and acted as cheerleading and history club sponsor. Happy to be a member of the CCS team, Mrs. Castleberry occasionally substitute teaches at CCS and delights in showing students that she can teach as well as administrate. Active in her church congregation, she is married and has two boys, a Kindergartener and a second grader.
