Ana Arias, Spanish
Spanish teacher Ana Arias joined CCS in the 2007-2008 school year. Born and educated in Guatemala, her academic focus was originally on business and law. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Arias was a logistics coordinator for the NAFTA marketplace and worked as a translator in the business world. Her diverse professional experience makes her a tremendous asset for CCS students. Working as a translator has enhanced her communications skills and ability to promote the understanding of language in the CCS full-immersion Spanish program. Mrs. Arias taught Pre-K before joining the CCS team, and her passion for teaching and children comes through in her high-energy classroom delivery. Mrs. Arias is active in her church congregation, is married and has two children, a daughter in junior high school and a son in high school.
